Todd Cato

Chief Development Officer

Todd is a seasoned healthcare development executive. Most recently, Todd served as VP of the Special Assets Group. The Special Assets Group handles acquisitions and other transactions in a variety of categories, including hospital JV’s, acquisitions of Parallon, and management of Hospital Corporation of America’s (HCA) in–house innovation and venture capital fund. Todd was responsible for HCA’s relationships with both existing portfolio companies and potential investment targets.

Todd acted as both a liaison and consultant on target review, vendor relationships, making connections between portfolio company teams and their HCA counterparts and all governance and reporting functions. Todd then served as VP of Development for HCA. During his tenure, Todd helped develop and operate Hospital Corporation of America’s (HCA) outpatient imaging centers. Todd managed the imaging centers across the country until 2010 when HCA moved the centers under the hospital management team.

Before HCA, Todd served as VP of Operations for Touchstone Medical Imaging. He handled the operations of all eight centers. Todd’s interest in technology and radiology led him to co-found InPhact in 1994. InPhact was a radiology solutions company dedicated to providing PACs and teleradiology services to non-urban hospitals and outpatient imaging centers. Todd was VP of Client Services and has a detailed understanding of PACs solutions and radiology billing.

Todd graduated from the University of Mississippi. He is a hunter, dad of three and a foodie. Todd is a Nashville native.

Why I'm Narus Health

For my Dad who battled Metastatic Melanoma cancer for three years and for my Mom who was with him at every treatment, appointment, ER visits, and hospital stays. This company is for the both of them. I miss you Dad!
